The most important thing is that, it will affect your business is your credibility. People buy only from a company that they think is trusty and credible. This is the reason why people prefer to go for branded goods because these goods mean that they are coming from a reputable brand. Now the question is how can you build credibility for your business on the internet? The answer is consistency. Consumers like consistent behavior. In case there is a news letter that you publish for your consumers every month, then it is important that you are consistent with it. It is important that the quality of the news letter remains the same. You should also ensure that the frequency of the issues is also the same; an irregular issue will cause distrust and confusion in the minds of the consumers.

Consistency means that you are consistent in all the aspects. If you are providing a guarantee period for your goods, then it is advisable that you do not change the guarantee period too often, also try and provide goods that have a standard quality and price.

Telling the truth is always the best way. It pays to think not as seller and to think as a customer. Try and think of all the features that you would be looking in a product before buying it, and try and include it in the advertisement.

Testimonials are also a great way to increase your credibility. Testimonials are statements from happy customers rating how the product has helped him and how much he liked it. Before publishing a testimonial you have to take permission from the author to publish it. Also it is wise not to make up testimonials as more often than not you will be caught and will create a bad impression in the minds of prospective customers.

Remember that to gain credibility you have to provide value for money. You have to be accessible and solve all the consumer problems to be in their good books.

Did you already give a Kancho to the making-a-speech Ossan at the top page (Kancho is a Japanese traditional children’s play which is an act of shoving your first fingers up someone’s butt and Ossan is a Japanese term which is a little impolite but cute way to refer to a middle-aged guy)? Click his butt and he, out of the pain, starts running, getting out of this website and running through one after another of blogs that have the Ossan Blogparts. Likewise, if you give a Kancho to the Ossan on one of those blogs, he will also run through various blogs. Deploy one of these blogparts into your blog so the number of your visitors may increase. Agree on the terms of service and start using this feature now.

1-click award is a competition rewarding the interactive works using mouse actions such as click in Japan. The contest offers the winner 500,000 yen and is being organized by Japanese recruiting company, Recruit. (500K Yen are like US$ 4.600)

This is not exactly the most fun part, just click poke on the guy’s butt and you will see his reaction.

If you are starting a website and actually pretend to make money like the big guys make start taking things serious, people quit after the second month because they only made $3.57. Well, if you want to make money start working… Do a lot of SEO (search engine optimization), Link Building, Advertising, Promotions, Guest Blogging, etc. But if you just sit there waiting for your visitors to come you are not going to succeed. For example John Chow does a lot of Advertising via AdWords and other networks.

Its not all about money, actually money will come later once you have built your network and wrote several good posts. As every new business you will need to invest some money first, forget about money for a while, money will come on it right moment.

Digg its not anymore only an informational website but its getting very influential to many bloggers and website owners. Digg can be a heavy driver of revenue-generating traffic and can also help make your website viral.

Tips to increase even more the chances of making the front page

Follow Top Story Submitters

• If you are new to the site, once you got signed up, you need to spend a couple days exploring the site, “studying” dugg stories and it user; See if the user who submitted the story has a lot of friends or dugg or submitted a lot of stories before. I would recommend to follow their steps, for some reason they got to the front page.

Use the Digg Trends Tool to find hot keywords

• As I said before this tool gives you hot keywords. I call it Hot Keywords because those are the most used words in the Front Page makers stories for example if your story its about iPhones they hot keywords would be “Jailbreak, apple, firmware”

Create a Friend Network

• More friends is not necessarily better. The more friends you have, the more votes it will take for your story to hit the home page. Better to have 20 active friends than 400 deadbeats.
• Digg has a system that block making a lot of friends right away, I would suggest to participate a little first, digg like 10 - 20 stories first.
• Get to know your “friends”. Make them to like you by leaving sincere and intelligent comments on their stories. Wouldn’t you love that? GIVE WHAT YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE.

It might take a while

• This its not a “1 minute get rich program” this could actually take a couple months of digging, commenting and making more friends. After a couple months doing that, your friends will automatically start reading your stories and digging them.
